It’s official. Viking Ocean Cruises is scheduling its first-ever world cruise for 2017 and 2018 aboard the upcoming Viking Sun – the newly named sister ship to the Viking Star, Viking Sea (just launched) and Viking Sky (2017) before her. The itinerary is 141 days in length and features five continents, 35 countries and 66 ports.
According to Viking’s website, the cruise will depart on Dec. 15, 2017 from Miami, Florida aboard the new ship fresh from the yard. Port highlights include a dozen overnight visits in Havana, Cuba; Los Angeles, California; Tahiti, French Polynesia; Auckland, New Zealand; Sydney, Australia; Manila, Philippines; Shanghai, China; Hong Kong, China; Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; Bangkok, Thailand
