Uniworld Boutique River Cruises Christens New S.S. Catherine

Today, Uniworld Boutique River Cruises and French actress godmother, Catherine Deneuve, christened and launched the new S.S. Catherine in Lyon, France. Like on its sister ship, the S.S. Antoinette, “S.S.” stands for Super Ship, and while there are common features between the two, the exterior design is much more modern and yacht-like this time around.

Interiors remain classic and bright, and extensive shipboard features include Bar du Leopard and cinema, Van Gogh Lounge, Cézanne Restaurant, bistro, coffee and tea bar, swimming pool, Serenity River Spa, fireplace, fitness center, lobby and an elevator with a side waterfall. For accommodations, guests can choose from 80 staterooms, 5 suites and one Royal Presidential Suite.
