Carnival Cruise Line always impresses as a mainstream value-focused line that offers an abundance of great complimentary dining options from burgers to burritos, and its pizza fits right in. Whether at Pizza Pirate or Pizzeria del Capitano, freshly prepared pies are available 24 hours a day onboard. The former offers great Margherita, Funghi, Prosciutto, Pepperoni or Quatttro Formaggi varieties, and the latter on the Carnival Magic, Carnival Sunshine and newest Carnival Vista offers a choice of toppings.
Costa Cruises
Costa Cruises is often considered an Italian version of Carnival Cruise Line, and as such the pizza is regionally delicious. I’ve only had a chance to tour the appropriately named Costa Deliziosa, but its lasting impression on me included its excellent pizza. Available by the slice, the thin crust preparation is definitely on par with what I’ve also enjoyed locally in Naples, Italy.
