'Star Trek: The Cruise II' Will Now Set Sail Twice

Just star-dates ago, the “Star Trek” franchise celebrated its official 50th anniversary, and as its popularity never seems to wane, Entertainment Cruise Productions has announced a second “Star Trek: The Cruise II” voyage for 2018.

The inaugural “Star Trek: The Cruise” theme sailing set to be hosted by William Shatner (Captain James T. Kirk) aboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Pearl on Jan. 9-15, 2017 sold out long ago, and in response, George Takei (Hikaru Sulu) was enlisted to host a sequel in 2018 – a repeat that will now be a two-parter, in perfect episodic television fashion.

Now not only will “Star Trek: The Cruise II” set sail on Jan. 5-11, 2018, it will also embark on a second back-to-back on Jan. 11-18, 2018. The repeat sailings will be onboard the sister ship to Norwegian’s Norwegian Pearl, the Norwegian Jade.
