It’s that time of year again! October is Plan a Cruise Month – a special period of cruise inspirations and bookings – and with it comes the second #CruiseSmile (www.CruiseSmile.org) sweepstakes, a fun chance to win a free cruise each week during the month by sharing your smile.
When there’s 31 sailings available to win, it’s a breeze to be excited for, say, anything from a luxury Tahitian voyage or a European river cruise to a family-friendly weeklong Caribbean itinerary or an even longer 14-day Asian one to Shanghai and Hong Kong. I know, personally, I’ve been dreaming of cruising to Asia or Tahiti as two destinations that still remain on my bucket list. What about you?
“It’s hard for travelers not to smile when planning, dreaming about, or voyaging out on a cruise vacation and CLIA wants travelers to share those smiles,” said Cindy D’Aoust, CEO, Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA). “The #CruiseSmile initiative gives everyone something to smile about as well as helping participants discover phenomenal cruise vacations from the 27 CLIA North American cruise lines.”
And it’s simple to enter. Just post a photo of your “Cruise Smile” on Twitter, Instagram or directly at the www.CruiseSmile.org website, using the hashtags #CruiseSmile and #Sweepstakes, from October 1, 2016 to October 31, 2016. Plus, you can even tag friends for bonus chances to win.
Each week, there will be a different cruise theme, and a winner will be selected at the end of each, who can choose their preference of the theme’s featured sailings, also accommodated by Carey chauffeur services. A total of four cruise vacation will be granted from 31 selections during the month.
The official steps to enter #CruiseSmile are listed as follows:
Step 1: Starting on October 1, 2016, upload a “Cruise Smile” photo to www.CruiseSmile.org and share the #CruiseSmile entry with friends.
Step 2: Enter for additional chances to win by posting a “Cruise Smile” photo on Twitter or Instagram, using #CruiseSmile and #Sweepstakes.
Step 3: Share your #CruiseSmile with friends for bonus entries into the sweepstakes.
Step 4: Visit www.CruiseSmile.org daily to enter for a chance to win and check out the week’s showcased cruise prize.
Step 5: Follow #CruiseSmile on social channels for the newest daily info – On Twitter and Instagram: @CruiseSmile and on Facebook: Facebook.com/CruiseSmile
Specifically, contest entries do not roll over, and entrants must upload a new photo each day to be eligible for each day’s prize. The sweepstakes is available to entrants 13 years of age or older. If a minor is selected, a guardian aged 21 or over must claim the prize on their behalf. Winners will be chosen randomly each day in October, and some blackout dates apply as determined by cruise lines.
