Galápagos Islands sailings onboard Silversea Expeditions‘ Silver Galapagos (pictured above) are now even more all-inclusive, encompassing roundtrip airfare from Ecuador and a pre- and post-cruise land package. These perks are in addition to the already included excursions and luxurious onboard amenities. Plus, a new add-on option for reduced air rates from the U.S. and Canada to and from Ecuador is now available as well.
Silversea details the new inclusions as follows: roundtrip economy class air between Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands; a two-night pre-cruise hotel stay with breakfast at the Quito JW Marriott; an evening tour of Quito’s historic city highlights; transfer from the hotel to the airport in Quito; pre- and post-cruise transfers between the airport and Silver Galapagos in Baltra; a post-cruise hotel day room at the Hotel Oro Verde in Guayaquil (for guests with flights after 10 p.m.); transfer from the airport to the hotel, and from the hotel to the airport in Guayaquil; Galápagos National Park and Ingala Transit Card fees; and porterage fees.
The cruise line further describes the airfare add-on option as follows: The offer is available from dozens of east coast and centrally located gateways, including Boston, Chicago, Minneapolis, Detroit, New York, Cincinnati, Atlanta, Miami, Dallas, Memphis, Toronto, and Montreal. A $299 roundtrip economy air add-on is also available from such western gateways as Denver, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, Calgary, and more. The $199 and $299 roundtrip economy air add-ons apply to new Silver Galapagos bookings made on or after March 31, 2015, and sailing after July 1, 2015. The capacity-controlled offer is valid for bookings made at least 60 days prior to departure, and may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice.
