Silver Wind Emerges from Refurbishment

Following a two-week dry dock, the Silver Wind from Silversea Cruises has reemerged with newly enhanced shipboard spaces. First, the luxury liner’s suites, public areas and dining venues received fresh earthen décor with new carpet and upholstery. The pool deck was also refitted with new tiles and furniture while La Terrazza, the cruise ship’s specialty Italian restaurant, got a redesigned buffet area. All remaining teak decks and woodwork were also refinished.

The highlights of the refurbishment, however, are Le Champagne (pictured above), the only Relais & Châteaux restaurant at sea, and The Bar (pictured below). The makeover of the French specialty restaurant features a new entrance design, backlit wine displays and seating arrangement, plus new flooring, fabrics and window treatments. The Bar now also sports new furnishings with a contrasting teal, brown and beige color palate.
