Seabourn Cruise Line Introduces Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Ovation

Seabourn Cruise Line‘s two upcoming luxury cruise ships now have names: the Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Ovation. Also revealed are fresh renderings of what the new vessels will look like when they launch in late 2016 and spring 2018. The 40,350-ton, 604-guest ships will feature one additional deck and expanded public areas since their predecessors.

Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Ovation will applaud the current fleet in both vessel design and guest experience,” said Seabourn President Richard Meadows. “Both words, Encore and Ovation, pay tribute to the tremendous success and outstanding accomplishments our current ships have achieved. They are perfect names to celebrate Seabourn’s expanding fleet.”

Like the Odyssey-class ships – Seabourn OdysseySeabourn Sojourn and Seabourn Quest – before them, the Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Ovation will maintain the line’s ultra-luxe standards and enhance the level of design once more.

The all-suite, all-veranda vessels’ guest areas will be entirely designed by acclaimed Adam D. Tihany including the dining venues, The Spa at Seabourn, showrooms, casino and lounges, outdoor deck areas and the Seabourn Square social hub.
