Royal Caribbean International has christened its latest ship – the Anthem of the Seas – at a naming ceremony helmed by godmother Emma Wilby, a British travel agent who was chosen following an agent singing competition. During the event, she took to the stage along with Welsh choir Only Boys Aloud.
The 4,180-guest Anthem of the Seas is a sister-ship to recently launched Quantum of the Seas and follows in that ship’s wake with similar features. She will sail from Southampton, U.K. during her inaugural season ahead of homeporting at Cape Liberty Cruise Port in Bayonne, N.J.
