The new Regal Princess from Princess Cruises will set sail next month, May of 2014, and before her inaugural festivities, we thought we’d share a collection of photos from the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy over the last few months as she has been prepared. The new cruise ship will be a nearly identical sister ship to the Royal Princess introduced last year with a few small tweaks here and there.

Features first found on the Royal Princess such as the SeaWalk (pictured above) and Princess Live! will carryover to the Regal Princess as will fan favorites like The Sanctuary and Movies Under the Stars. Small changes will include an enlarged promenade deck beneath the aforementioned SeaWalk plus an additional Terrace Pool at the ship’s stern up on the Sun Deck.
