Silversea Cruises has unveiled a refreshed Silver Cloud after her recent refurbishment in Palermo, Italy as previously reported here: Extensive Drydock Remodel Planned for Silver Cloud. Now that the luxury cruise ship is sailing again, the line has released a number of images showing off her improvements. Let’s take a look. (Click on the images below to enlarge.)
The dining room, Le Champagne (seen below), now features a redesigned entry, backlit wine displays, updated seating layout, and new wood flooring, fabrics and window treatments. La Terrazza (seen above) received a new seating arrangement with wall banquettes and added tables for two, plus a remodeled buffet section.

Several upgrades have been made to the suites with updated fabrics for their furnishings and replaced carpets, headboards, curtains and veranda furniture. New Silversea-exclusive reversible mattresses feature a soft and firm side and are draped with new Pratesi linens. The bathrooms have received updated flooring, marble and either a new bath-and-shower combination or a spa-like walk-in rainforest shower and sitting area which has replaced the bathtub showers found previously in the majority of the Veranda and Vista Suites. A dramatic new wet room with a rainforest shower separate from the bathtub (seen below) is also now found in the Owner’s and Grand Suites.

What’s more, a refreshed earthen tone color scheme has been applied to updated carpets, corridors, staircases and public spaces from the lobby to The Bar (seen below) with its additional contrasting cool colors. The Panorama Lounge received new furniture, carpet, curtains and reconditioned wood floors, and The Spa and Beauty Salon were also remodeled. The outdoor jogging track saw the installation of new synthetic turf, and the pool has been surrounded with new furniture. Teak decks and onboard woodwork were reconditioned and polished as were the onboard mechanical and propulsion systems completely maintained.
