Norwegian Cruise Line’s Pride of America Enhancements Finalized

The Pride of America (pictured above) – Norwegian Cruise Line‘s US-flagged cruise ship that sails the Hawaiian islands exclusively – just completed $30-million worth of enhancements. Culminating with the introduction of 32 new staterooms and suites, the list of improvements to the ship also includes the addition of Moderno Churrascaria, the line’s Brazilian steakhouse, and Cagney’s, the line’s traditional steakhouse.

The new accommodations are particularly impressive and feature many of the tones and decor found on the Norwegian Breakaway, the line’s newest ship in the fleet. Deck 13 sports 24 new luxurious suites – Penthouse Suites and Owner’s Suites that reveal new furnishings, fabrics, carpets, bathrooms and the largest balconies in the fleet to match. The two 566-sq.ft. Owner’s Suites are composed of a large bedroom, bathroom and separate living area. Each accommodates up to four guests.

Penthouse Suites make up the rest and range in size from 363- to 459-sq.ft., with most sleeping up to 6 passengers. In fact, the two Owner’s Suites connect to adjacent Penthouse Suites, together offering a capacity of 10 people, which is great for larger families and parties. The suites also come with butler and concierge service, custom Tranquility mattresses, Lavazza espresso makers, Elemis bath products and private dining for breakfast and lunch.

Rounding out the cabin improvements are four Studio staterooms catering to solo passengers and another four standard inside staterooms. The efficient Studio staterooms include a full-size bed and a separate bathroom. The newly revitalized ship now also touts ship-wide Wi-Fi, fresh carpeting, flat screen TVs in all staterooms, updated decor and directional signage and upgrades to the fitness center, gift shop, photo gallery and art gallery.
