New Carnival Vista Begins Construction

Carnival Cruise Lines announced today the initial construction of the new Carnival Vista, indicating that the new cruise ship’s first steel was cut (as seen in the header image above) for the vessel at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy earlier this week.

Few details about the ship have yet been revealed besides its size and capacity. At 135,000 tons and with a capacity of 4,000 passengers, the cruise ship will be the largest in the Carnival fleet when it’s launched in spring 2016.
