MSC Divina Begins Year-Round Sailings from Miami

MSC Cruises‘ highly anticipated MSC Divina and her new year-round sailings from Miami have arrived. After an 18-day Trans-Atlantic voyage from Venice, Italy, the first MSC Cruises vessel to make round-trips from North America all throughout the year was greeted by a playful trio of FIAT 500 watercraft (as seen below). In fact, one of the Italian cars – known in Italy as the Cinquecento – was even onboard the MSC Divina to escort the cruise ship on her crossing from Venice.

“With MSC Divina’s debut, we are thrilled to welcome one of our finest and most innovative vessels to North America,” said Richard Sasso, President and CEO of MSC Cruises USA. “Today marks an important milestone for MSC Cruises as we continue to grow in this region, offering more destinations and appealing to wider audiences. We look forward to offering North American cruisers something new and fresh.”

The arrival of the MSC Divina was further celebrated with a fireworks display that jubilantly erupted over the cruise ship. Besides introducing MSC Cruises to the North American market year-round, the MSC Divina brings with her a number of new features. Two Eataly restaurants will bring a taste of Italy to passengers with the upscale Ristorante Italia and Eataly Steakhouse, modeled after the food brand’s restaurant in Manhattan, New York. Other premium experiences include Aqua Cycling at sea and MSC Cruises’ MSC Yacht Club for those seeking luxurious ship-within-a-ship accommodations.
