As summer specials begin to draw to a close, cruise deals look ahead to the Christmas season and 2017 beyond.
Alaskan Dream Cruises
The small-ship operator Alaskan Dream Cruises has unveiled its 2017 itineraries and is offering up to 10 percent early-bird discounts for all of them if booked before September 1, 2016. Deep explorations include stops at the likes of Kake, Metlakatla, Kasaan and Wrangell beyond Glacier Bay National Park, Juneau, Skagway and more.
AmaWaterways
For a special wine voyage aboard AmaWaterways on November 8 – 15, 2017, a 25 percent discount from the regular $2,899 per person rate is available for around a $1,500 savings per couple. The 7-night Dry Creek Valley Wine cruise from Budapest to Vilshofen on the Danube is bookable for $2,149 per person until August 31, 2016.
Onboard the AmaStella will be six San Francisco area winery owners, and the cruise includes nightly four-course dinners paired with at least three different varietals and each hosted by a different Dry Creek Valley winery owner from Amista Vineyards, Comstock Wines, Gustafson Family Vineyards, Mill Creek Vineyards and Winery, Pedroncelli Winery and Trattore Farms.
