Staying fit on a cruise may sound like an oxymoron, what with the seemingly endless eating and perpetual lounging about, but it is certainly not impossible to maintain a healthy lifestyle onboard should you choose.

Take it from me. I’ve been cruising my entire life, and I’m heavier because of it. However, I’ve also managed to lose weight recently by being more active while on ships, and it’s easier than you might think. In fact, Royal Caribbean International’s new Harmony of the Seas is so big as the largest ship in the world that I walked eight miles in just a few hours while capturing all of the ship in photos and video.
