Crystal River Cruises Reveals Crystal Mozart Design

Dubbed the “Queen of European Rivers,” the existing German-built MS Mozart will be remade into the Crystal Mozart to launch the new Crystal River Cruises brand on July 13, 2016, and now the company has revealed what its redesign will look like (as seen above and in the slideshow below).

While the exterior will appear mostly unchanged architecturally, it will receive the Crystal livery with its signature turquoise bands and iconic seahorse logo. It’s the interiors that will really shine with the line’s chic aesthetic. Designed by London’s AD Associates and Toronto’s II by IV Design, spaces will include luxurious private accommodations and elegant public venues. Soft and bold colors complement each other in a contemporary fashion.

“The experience awaiting guests when they step aboard Crystal Mozart will be true to the superior standard of luxury for which Crystal has always been celebrated, with some additional and original offerings that will be exclusive to Crystal River Cruises,” said Crystal’s president and CEO, Edie Rodriguez. “We’re bringing what was already a grand dame of European rivers up to the superlative Crystal level, with a modern but ‘classically Crystal’ twist.”

All suites will come with king-size beds, Nespresso machines, 40-inch flat-screen televisions, marble bathrooms and butler service. The 158-guest capacity will be accommodated in 219-square-foot window suites or deluxe suites with a French balcony, 330-square-foot penthouse suites and an 883-square-foot two-bedroom Crystal Suite. The biggest categories will also feature French balconies, walk-in closets and separate showers and bathtubs.
