Crystal Cruises Set to Debut Two New Production Shows on Crystal Symphony

Crystal Cruises will unveil two new production shows onboard the Crystal Symphony starting on the luxury cruise ship’s 10-day sailing from Beijing to Hong Kong on April 1, 2015. The newly added performances are the “Rocket Man: A Tribute to Elton John” concert-style show and “5-6-7-8” dance production.

“Rocket Man” previously ran on Crystal Serenity and will come aboard Crystal Symphony with stage and screen talent Craig A. Meyer in a musical tribute to rock-and-roll piano legend Elton John backed by the Galaxy Orchestra and Crystal Ensemble. In “5-6-7-8,” the in-house singers and dancers bring to life jazz, jive, modern, hip hop, tango, tap, contemporary and salsa dancing backed by memorable tunes. Also featured will be special lighting effects and a floor-to-ceiling video wall.

“The latest and greatest to grace Crystal’s stages highlight the extraordinary caliber and broad range of talent that is featured on board,” says Edie Rodriguez, Crystal’s president. “The two newest shows on Crystal Symphony are stylistically distinct, with production components and quality that will thrill virtually any type of theatergoer.”
