Carnival Cruise Line’s New Carnival Vista Floats Out After Coin Ceremony

The new Carnival Vista from Carnival Cruise Line is closer to its May 1, 2016 launch after the cruise ship’s coin ceremony and float-out. At the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy, a commemorative coin was recently welded to the 133,500-gross-ton vessel’s mast, signaling the completion of exterior construction. Soon afterwards, the ship was first floated out and docked to finalize its interior fittings.

Vista will also highlight unique accommodations such as Family Harbor and Havana staterooms and suites.
