AmaWaterways has debuted the 170-guest AmaViola, sister ship to AmaStella launched earlier this year, complete with family-friendly accommodations ahead of its sailings with Adventures by Disney. River cruising has been predominantly geared towards couples until recently, but this vessel conveniently opens up the travel to multi-generations as does an extension of the partnership with Disney through 2017.

The new riverboat accordingly features six sets of connecting cabins to sleep a total of five thanks to one of the room’s convertible sofa-bed configurations. Plus, there are four suites that can themselves accommodate up to four guests. This makes the AmaViola ideal not just for families but also larger groups.
