Before October 12, 2012 when the new Celebrity Reflection will welcome her first guests, she must first be “conveyed” – or floated away from the shipyard and set sail for the first time – ran through sea trials to test her seaworthiness, and receive her final furnishings and finishing touches.
Celebrity Cruise’s newest vessel has already made her way from the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany out to sea and is now well on her way to entering passenger service.
The photos below were released by Celebrity on the line’s Facebook page and show the ship as she made her way from the shipyard as well as her current state of final preparations.
